Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT JOHN MARTIN It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Al, on March 15, 2019, at his home in Southside. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Gerrie, of 58 years, daughters, Shauna (Ron), Joanne and Pam (Jim), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and many friends. Dad grew up in Beausejour, later moving to Winnipeg where he worked as a mechanic. He spent numerous years at Northland Trailer Park where he shared many laughs and good times with his family and friends. Al enjoyed all sports, bird watching, a beer or shot with his buddies, and his dream of winning the lotto. Dad was a man of honesty, integrity and pride; and lived a full and happy life. Please join us for a celebration of Al's life on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at E.J. Coutu & Co. Funeral Home, 680 Archibald Street, Winnipeg at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow reception at Transcona Cemetery. Dad, rest in peace and know that you are loved. E.J. Coutu & Co. We are so sorry for your loss. Al was beloved by all those that know him. Another Southsider gone too soon! I loved chatting with him as he drove by in the back lane - always wearing his baseball cap! Jerry mentioned how much he will miss his visits and the "Putchskys."
