TIM WIEBE It is with great sadness that his family announces the death of George Timothy Wiebe, aged 59, March 14, 2019, at the Altona Memorial Hospital where he received tender, loving care. Tim grew up in Winnipeg and was baptized at Charleswood Mennonite Church. He completed his B. Music, B. Theology, B.Ed., M. Theology, and coursework for a Ph.D. in Theology. He was active in Christian Mennonite education, ministry, supporting M.C.C., poetry, radio broadcasting, CBC Hymn Sing, Faith and Life Male choir, quartet singing, writing A Timsights Treasury, and jogging. Tim loved his students. His unique character, wisdom, and eccentricities earned him loving respect from his friends, students and colleagues. Left to mourn his loss is his wife Marlene (Kruger), children: Emily (Michael), Steven and Michael, parents: George and Esther Wiebe, brothers: Bob (Verna) and Peter (Ruth) and their families, parents-in-law: William and Helen Kruger and their family. A funeral worship service took place on March 17, 2019 at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church, followed by cremation.
