ELIZABETH (BETTY) EDITH KING (BETTY)
Date of Passing: Mar 17, 2019
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (BETTY) EDITH KING Peacefully on March 17, 2019 Betty passed away. She leaves behind daughter Cathy (Guy); sister Joan (Ian); nephews Brent, Scott (Marion); niece Judy (Armando); grandchildren, Greg (Jackie), Kevin (Lisa), Christopher (Ashleigh), Alison (Chris), Daniel, Michael (Riana) and Ashleigh (Jordan); 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and longtime friends Connie and Ron of BC and Sandy. In Mom's younger years she loved to cook and bake. Nothing like a roast beef dinner and assortment of pies. Mom loved to shop. Purses, shoes, jewellery were her favourites. Mom loved keepsakes as anyone could tell by her home. Her passion was knitting. She was proud of her talent. And so was everyone who wore her hats, mitts, scarves, beautiful sweaters and cozy warm blankets. Her hobby was crossstitch. Mom did some amazing pictures. Mom was predeceased by daughter Jo-anne in 2002. Jo-Anne's passing was extremely difficult for Mom. The whole family tried to fill that emptiness. Unfortunately her health started to decline and she could no longer live on her own. Mom moved to Heritage Lodge. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlands Hall, 204 Argyle Street, Woodlands, MB.
