MADELEINE EVA BRENNAN (NORMANDIN)
Born: Aug 10, 1942
Date of Passing: Mar 20, 2019
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMADELEINE EVA (NORMANDIN) BRENNAN August 10, 1942 - March 20, 2019 After a long fight with an illness which took away her independence much too soon, Madeleine will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years Larry, her devoted son Lorne (Lee Ann), granddaughter Lexi, and son Dwayne. She will be sadly missed by her surviving siblings, Fernine, Denise, Diane, Lucien, Phyllis, Lilianne and John; loving in-laws Belen, Sylvia, and Leo; many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends, Harry and Joyce James. Madeleine was a woman of faith and enjoyed being involved in the church community attending services and volunteering her time when needed, however, she was devoted to spending time and taking care of her family over everything else. In her younger years she loved going on family camping trips and enjoyed gardening. Her green thumb was evident as people admired her flower garden and baskets she proudly displayed. Madeleine took pride in everything she did and had a variety of jobs through her life, but her favourite was when she decided to operate a child day care at home. All the children loved how kind, gentle and patient she naturally was. Madeleine felt like she won the lottery once she became a grandmother to her "pumpkin" and Lexi was equally blessed to have her as a grandma. Later in Madeleine's life she worked in the kitchen at Park Manor Care Home, which then became her home for the past five years. We are very thankful they took great care of our sweet Madeleine. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at The Blessed Sacrament Parish, 710 Roanoke Street. Reception to follow.

Sincere condolences to my cousin Larry and his family. Unfortunately, due to my father's and your uncle Ken's occupation, I did not have the opportunity to know your wife Madeline very well. However, my mother commented often on what a lovely woman she was.Take care of you and yours. Marilyn&family. - Posted by: Marilyn Archer (cousin) on: Mar 27, 2019

Dear Madelene, always such a dear soul so concerned with helping others. I'm sure she lost a lot of rest time in order to reach out to others. There are many saints in our history that are known for their kindness. Perhaps they will all assemble in heaven together with Madelene to share their experience. Lost to time but never forgotten dear cousin you have been and continue to be A blessing to us now and always.
