So very shocked and sorry to hear of Walter’S passing. We didn’t know how serious his illness was until we arrived back home from Arizona. He was very well respected and down to earth with no pretenses. He will be fondly remembered. Bill Hrubeniuk - Posted by: Bill Hrubeniuk (Neighbor) on: May 13, 2019

Dear Kathy, Matthew, Melissa and family, It is just minutes ago that we found out that Walter passed away last month. A great shock indeed. It was just a few months ago that we sat together in his garage discussing cars, airplanes, kids, landscaping and sharing some of his wisdom in polishing up his vehicles and sharing some of his perennial seeds, which were his pride and joy. He definitely had a green thumb. Walter always took time to share all facets of his life and even after his first battle of cancer and all he went thru he would always ask me, “Monika, how are you doing health wise?” and then he’d share the latest in pain control. That was Walter.. a caring, upbeat, loving soul. He will be greatly missed by so many. Our condolences to you Kathy and entire family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. - Posted by: Volker and Monika Hochheim (Customer and friend) on: Apr 27, 2019

I'm very thankful for the joyful times I have spent with the Demski family! It is with the deepest condolences I send to Kathy, Melissa, Matthew and all of the Demski extended family members! This family is so down to earth, relaxed and just always having a great time! Whether it's out on the deck soaking up some Ray's listening to 70's music, or watching documentary's on tv (mostly Walter) they know how to have a great time! Although Walter isn't around physically anymore, he is always right there spiritually and will continue to show up in ways to tell you he's still there. I will miss my co-pilot, he was a man who was so deeply interested in flight and always so excited to go flying! I hope now you have tasted your own flight, that you are happy, and that you can continue to support your loved ones from above. - Posted by: Brian Burris (Friend) on: Mar 25, 2019

Dear Kathy, Matthew and Alex, Melissa, David and Heidi: Our deepest condolences to you and to your extended family. You have been in our thoughts and prayers since Walter’s surgery, praying for the pain to go away, praying for hope, but never to end this way so quickly. We will forever cherish all the memories, all the good times and continue to tell the stories and we will laugh and cry with Walter’s spirit living within us… the Beaches Golf and (no) Country Club, enjoying Roy Orbison at the EX, blaring Johnny Rivers music in the car, drooling over a pork roast feast, and Ohh-oh-oh summer wine! After our move to Ontario, we always kept in touch with K&W; sitting around our firepit in Kingston, reminiscing under the stars, with 60’s oldies playing in the background of course… let’s call K&W and Ohh-oh-summer wine! Will always treasure Walter and family pulling up in our driveway at our 25th anniversary party in this shining Seabring convertible. What a party! Then it was our turn to show up at K&W’s 25th, which we enjoyed immensely, specially the piglet roast and Ohh-summer wine! We will miss Walter, we will miss his rants on politics and whatever other topics. Most of all, we will miss his joie de vivre! Rest in peace my dear friend. Cathy, Brian and I send our love, prayers, and condolences, to you and your family. Walter was such a gentle man. Brian and I met up with him at the Garden City Hot Rod show and shine auto gathering. He was so proud of that station wagon he acquired from Arizona. I told him I loved his mags on that car. We all had a great conversation about our vehicles. The gear head bonding. We will truly miss him, Cathy. Unfortunately we will not be able to attend his life celebration as we are in Florida till April. Hugs to you sweetheart. - Posted by: Caren & Brian Sych (Friends) on: Mar 23, 2019
