I want to express my deep condolences to LaToya's family. She and I met during her first CMU class and we connected immediately. We shared several other classes and I always appreciated seeing her sunny smile and sparkling eyes. We enjoyed many conversations over faith, family, our mutual education goals, and life in general. Having survived cancer myself, I believe LaToya found hope in seeing my returned health. We prayed together many times for that for her. My heart breaks that she was not able to experience healing, this side of heaven. The memory of her that I will hang on to is from last summer when she and I enjoyed a picnic in Assiniboine Park together. I will miss her and her friendship dearly. - Posted by: Lorraine Reimer (Classmate and friend) on: Mar 28, 2019
