MARY KOHUCH August 17, 1930 - March 31, 2012 In memory of Mary, devoted wife, wonderful Mom and Baba, loving sister, aunt, and caring friend. As the years pass, and we find ourselves either celebrating what is happening in our lives or grappling with life's challenges, we find ourselves thinking of you and appreciating you even more. It seems easy somehow to "go home" in our minds to simpler times - times when we were all living under the same roof. We can laugh more easily, now, as we think about everything associated with the garden, or how you and Dad seemed to have different internal thermostats, or how you used to put out a spread on a moment's notice, no matter the hour. How sweet it is for us to draw on our memories of you. We can see you reading the paper with your bottomless cup of coffee, after everyone was fed and the food was put away and the dishes were washed only relaxing when everything and everyone else was looked after. That kitchen was the soul of our house and you, Mom, were its beating heart. We love you more than ever as we attempt to replicate your dills or three-corner cookies or, even more challenging, your seemingly endless ability to be generous and kind to all. Thank you for being the best Mom. Thank you for loving Dad the way you did. We miss you and always will. Vichnaya Pamyat.
