SHIRLEY FERN ELIZABETH PITT With great sadness, we announce the death of Shirley Fern Elizabeth Pitt. Shirley was predeceased by her mother Freda; father Alfred; and brother Allen. She is survived by her sister-in-law Rachael; her nephews, Allen (Debra), Robert (Dorothy), Keith (Margaret), Ian; niece Katherine (Steven); and many great-nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on April 9, 2019 at St. Stephen's Anglican Church which is now located at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberly Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. Shirley's memorial service will not be followed by interment or reception. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations can be made to a charity of choice. The family wishes to thank the staff at River Ridge II.

  • My mom, Helen McLean, and I are very sorry to hear of Shirley's death. My mom's parents and Shirley's parents were great friends and the friendship continued through the years with my mom and dad visiting Shirley and Freda at Star Lake every summer and then regular phone calls in the last few years as Shirley and my mom got older.
