Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL ANDREW MATHESON May 18, 1964 - February 18, 2019 In a tragic accident in West Vancouver, Paul Andrew Matheson passed away on February 18, 2019. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Paul attended the University of Manitoba, and lived briefly in Toronto before moving to the West Coast. Paul was an avid sailor, climber, skier, windsurfer and diver, often accompanied by his beloved friend and fellow adventurer Myriam Callot. He was also an accomplished artist and musician. In his professional life Paul worked in computer technology and taught sailing and kayaking. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Graham and Lily Matheson of Winnipeg, and by his older brother Graham of Vancouver. He is survived by his son Jaime, his sisters, Diana and Elizabeth, his nephew Daniel, and his nieces, Amalia, Kiara, Elyra, Tabree and Volante of Vancouver. We will remember Paul with love for his free and independent spirit and for constantly challenging himself to push beyond what others thought possible.
