PETER MEYER SR.
Peter was a happy man who was content and grateful for every day. He was a successful farmer who built a vegetable farming business that supplied many Winnipeg area grocers for decades. He loved to experiment with new crops and innovative ideas. He was a hardworking, determined, practical, wise, and gentle man who loved to laugh and had a keen sense of humour. Most of all, he loved his family.
He was predeceased by his wife Lily (2007), and survived by his six children and six grandchildren.
He lived a Christian life, was a member of Grant Memorial Baptist Church for over 50 years and occasionally preached at Union Gospel Mission.
A service will be held on April 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., Winnipeg.
