RAYMOND ROLAND GROUETTE
December 29, 1933 - March 26, 2019

The family is saddened to announce that despite being in good spirits, Raymond succumbed to his COPD and heart issues at the Concordia Hospital.
Left to miss him dearly is his loving wife of almost 46 years, Evelyn (nee Lagace); his sons, Norbert (Tammy), and Patrick; sister Vivian Lamoureux; brother Claude Grouette (Paulene); special cousin Reverend Winston Rye; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; along with numerous longtime friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jules and Alice (nee Courchene); brothers, Phil and Martin; mother-in-law Irene Lagace; and brother-in-law Denis Lamoureux.
Raymond was born and raised in St. Norbert. He was a proud Korean Veteran, and was a longtime truck driver. He was always known as a friendly guy, who loved to give a helping hand to all he knew.
Special thanks to Access River East, and Transcona; nurse practitioner Cindy Allen, and nurse Jan Williams for her many hospital visits, and all the other staff; including those at Riverview Place and St. Boniface palliative care, and everyone who helped take care of him at home.
Cremation has taken place, and no formal service will be held. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
