DONALD FRANKLIN HINTZ
Donald was born on November 4, 1932 at the Grace Hospital. Don served in the Canadian Navy, and worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway for a number of years prior to his retirement. Retirement kept him busy with his favourite activities such as gardening, reading, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
Don is survived by his son Mark Hintz (Colleen), his daughter Tracy Rifflard (Al), his sisters, Marion, Caroline and Edna, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
As per Donald's wish, a cremation has taken place at Mosaic Funeral Home. Donald will be buried at the Transcona Cemetery beside our mother, whom he missed so very much. No services are scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
We will miss you Dad.

Tracy and Mark (and families) I was sad to hear of your dad's passing. I will always remember him by by his peaceful disposition, his little smirk of a smile and his pipe. My thoughts are with you, your cousin Deborah xoxox - Posted by: Deborah Wazny (Cousin) on: Apr 20, 2019

I was saddened to hear of Don’s passing. He was such a kind person and a friendly neighbour. He loved to chat and share his tomatoes and homemade jam that he made from the berries in his backyard. I will miss him. Sending my condolences to his family. - Posted by: Lorri Dahl (Neighbour) on: Apr 14, 2019
