After a brief battle with cancer, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph-Arthur Dupuis in the early hours of April 6, 2019, at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 78 years old.
Art is survived by his children, Lionel (Cindy) and Nicole (Brad), his grandchildren, Aaron, Sarah, Kamryn, Chloe, and his brother Jean-Guy. He was predeceased by his parents, Wilfrid and Marie-Louise, his sisters, Alida and Therese, and his brothers, Gerard, Ulysse, Aime, Rene, Roger and Theodore.
Art had a strong devotion to Ste. Anne who guided him through an extraordinarily fulfilling life, such as mentoring and teaching young minds for 23 years. In his latter years, Art decided to relocate to Alberta in order to be closer to his children and grandchildren.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • We knew dear Art when he worked in our building (55 Nassau). He was a very kind, friendly, extremely smart man who was a joy to stop and chat with, especially with regard to current events or crossword puzzles...he was amazing at crosswords. He was greatly missed when he left here but knowing that he got to spend more time with his children and grandchildren would have made him so happy. Our very deepest condolences to his family and it was an honour to know him. He made the world a better place.
