ENRIQUE SEOANE PRESAS
July 29, 1928 - April 17, 2019
He was preceded by grandson Miguel Allard. He is survived by his wife Maria del Carmen Soto Seijas. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Maria Teresa (Henrique) and Luz Maria (Gilbert). Grandchildren, Henry (Alana), Daniel (Manuela), Mark (Angela), Renée (Charles), Emilie (Eric); six great-grandchildren, Diego, Nelia, Francisco, Amalia, Clara and Benjamin.
Abuelo was born in A Coruna, Spain in 1928. After serving in the Navy, he worked as a welder in the shipyards in Ferrol. In 1948, he married Maria Del Carmen. Along with their two children they immigrated to Winnipeg in 1965. Welding/pipe fitting would take Abuelo to Northern Manitoba, Alberta, BC and eventually back to Winnipeg at the CN Weston Shops. In the early 1980s, the call of the maritime lifestyle influenced the move back to Spain. Abuelo was a very proud and hardworking man. He was a jack of all trades and very proud that he could fix anything. He loved to sing, the outdoors especially being at the beach, riding his bike and fishing. He was also proud of his collections, and would generously share his shoe and belt collections with his grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements and cremation will take place in Ferrol, Spain.
