MYRNA DIANE GUNN
(nee WILSON)
Myrna was born in Vita, Manitoba on September 26, 1940. She received her education at Emerson Collegiate and then attended Success College in Winnipeg. Myrna worked as an Administrative Assistant in Winnipeg before marrying Gary Gunn, her loving husband for 52 years. While being a devoted wife and mom, Myrna taught Sunday School at Central United Church. Scrapbooking of family and friends and searching her genealogy were pastimes she enjoyed, but most of all her passion was curling with many different clubs over the years including Riverview Curling Club where she cherished the many friendships made. Gary and Myrna loved to travel south to Mesa, Arizona for the winter months.
Myrna will be dearly missed by her husband Gary; son Dana and wife Merina, their children, Jesse and Jaeda; daughter Maureen and husband Mike Cooper. She was predeceased by her parents, Gar and Martha Wilson.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Brandon CancerCare and the Assiniboine Palliative Care Unit.
A private family interment will be held at the Emerson Cemetery, Emerson, Manitoba.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Myrna may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 0V9.

Gary & family, so sorry to read of Myrna's passing. (We thought of you often, but sorry, we never picked up the phone to contact you.) We were away for a couple of weeks & only today read the passages of Apr.27 Free Press, & were happy we told our neighbours to buy that Saturday's paper. Our sincere condolences; and we'll try to contact you soon. You folks are such great people; may Myrna rest in peace!! - Posted by: Ernie & Margaret Choptuik (Acquaintances in Mesa, AZ) on: May 18, 2019
