Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • It was with deep sadness that I read of Fran's passing. My deepest condolences to you Don and your family. It was with affection that I referred to Fran as Mamma Fran as she took me under her wing, taught me many things including kindness & patience in the workplace, gave me heck when I needed it which was frequent all with kindness and a smile. I will always treasure her friendship, her kindness and guidance all the while treating me as family. I have often thought about you, Fran, Lynn and Donna over the years since you both retired. - Posted by: Linda Garn ( friend) on: May 09, 2019

  • I have so many great memories of Mrs. Hodgson from early on in childhood. Her lyrical voice and laughter are inedible in my mind since she and my mom took turns looking after Donna and I on particular afternoons prior to kindergarten. I learned to roll the perfect ball of dough to make buns...she was very patient. As I grew there were so many fun picnics, weekends at camp, and after church lunches, Mrs. H would bring life and joy to all occasions. She was that spark that made good times so much better. I am so grateful to have had her presence in my life. As painful as it is to hear of her passing, I can almost envision her now having a cup of coffee and a great chat with her good friend Shirley (my mom). God bless you Fran. - Posted by: Robert Gustavson (Family Friend) on: Apr 29, 2019

  • We are sorry to hear of the passing of "Fran" "Foof". She was always fun to be around and full of life as I remember her. As I remember her...she loved to cook and bake, golf, walk, and picnic in the parks. She always had a big smile on her face and welcomed you lovingly into your home. Thinking of you all at this time. - Posted by: Laura (Gustavson) & John Szyja (Friend of the family) on: Apr 29, 2019
