We could not have had anyone kinder and more generous than Naomi and Abe for next door neighbours. Their devotion to each other was an inspiration to any couple. We always enjoyed conversing with them on a wide range of topics and appreciated their quiet sense of humour. Our daughters loved them too. When they were very young, Abe, good-naturedly, let them “help” in his garden and he and Naomi always graciously accepted their less than delicious cooking experiments. We are very sorry that we heard of their passing too late to attend their funerals. We send you our heartfelt sympathy Paula and Evie. We will miss. them too. - Posted by: Patti & Ric Moodie (Neighbour) on: May 13, 2019

Abe and Naomi were our neighbours on St. Cross as I was growing up. They were always so kind. Abe had such a love of gardening, and Abe gave me a little tomato plant and taught my to look after it. I love gardening now, and will always remember their generosity of allowing us into the garden and pool. - Posted by: Erica (Neighbour) on: May 13, 2019

I now live in their much cherished and beloved home on St. Cross where they raised their family. I had the pleasure of meeting them at my neighbor's home on two occasions. I have fond memories of them. Your parents were wonderful, kind and lovely people. My sincere condolences to your family. - Posted by: Katherine (Acquaintance ) on: May 10, 2019

Dear Paula and Evie, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father and mother. Losing both your parents within days is more than anyone can endure....but I know that G-d, family and friends will give you the support and strength you will need in the days ahead. Yasher Koach. We just heard about Abe and Naomi's passing - unfortunately too late to attend the services. Abe and Naomi were the best neighbours anyone could ask for. Living next door to them for so many years was our privilege, and we valued their friendship. They always generously invited us to share a swim in their pool, and Abe often gave us excellent advice on tree care and gardening tips. We occasionally stayed in touch after they moved to Tuxedo, and enjoyed catching them up on the happenings around St. Cross Street. They were both wonderful people, and will surely be missed. We pass along our condolences to the entire family. - Posted by: George and Linda Nykulaik (Friends and former neighbours) on: May 10, 2019
