ROBERT (BOB) WALLES LUCKHART
February 27, 1932 - Wilmot Township, ON
May 5, 2019 - Calgary, AB
Son of the late Nelson and Elnora
(Weiderhold) Luckhart
Bob was predeceased by his wife Jenny (Herma) Luckhart and is survived by numerous members of his blended family.
Bob perceived his life as a woven pattern with meaningful contributions from family, extended family, friends of family, friends at large, a stint in the military, associates at work, co-volunteers and other contacts. Bob envisioned this pattern early in life and found comfort in it lifelong. Blessed be the Ties that bind.
It was Bob's wish that his body be cremated and no funeral held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Parkinson Association of Alberta, www.parkinsonalberta.ca.

It is with a heavy heart that I send my condolences to you for Bob’s passing. I will always remember the kindness that shone from his eyes and the genuine warmth he shared with the people he met. Bob’s positive outlook on life was as infectious as his smile. I truly believe it was the combination of Bob’s view that his life was a “woven pattern with meaningful contributions” and also his deep love for Jenny that helped him do as well as he did for so many years with Parkinson’s disease. I remember, after living with Parkinson’s for many, many years, Bob proudly shared the story of getting his first hole in one while golfing. To this day, I still use his inspiring achievement to encourage others living the same illness. Though words can do little, I hope your family will find peace and comfort in your loving memories of Bob. The world lost an extremely special person, but the universe received a new beautiful star.
