LORRAINE SIMONE DESAUTELS
September 25, 1953 - May 12, 2019

It is with sadness that we say farewell to our sister, aunt and friend who passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre on May 12, 2019 at the age of 65 years old.
Missing and loving her are sister Denise (late Alain) Sabourin, brother Robert (Debbie) Desautels, brother Roger Desautels, brother-in-law Armand (late Raymonde) Duval, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Francois and Aurore Desautels, sister Raymonde Duval, brother-in-law Alain Sabourin and nephew Marcel Duval.
Lorraine was born and raised in St. Jean-Baptiste and enjoyed her childhood days playing with her brothers and sisters. Lorraine enjoyed various hobbies, especially latching, hooking, painting and looked forward to family visits.
Over the course of her life Lorraine was challenged with many difficulties and dealt with the outcomes to the best of her ability.

Until we meet again, rest in peace.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the caregivers of the Villa Youville Personal Care Home, Health Sciences Centre and other care facilities for their exceptional and compassionate care provided to Lorraine. May you all be blessed for the wonderful work you do.
Cremation has taken place and the immediate family will hold a graveside service at a later date.
