MICHEL JOSEPH MARCEL TESSIER
1955 - 2019
He was predeceased by his parents, Lionel and Rita Tessier (née Sicotte). Left to cherish his memory are his wife Audrey, son Christian, and daughter Rachel. He is survived by his brother Gerard, sister Huguette, brother-in-law Glenn Kibsey, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mike's first passion in life was his family. He truly enjoyed his numerous camping trips across Canada and the United States where strong family bonds were formed. Mike was extremely detail oriented and a perfectionist when it came to numbers; spending the majority of his career with the Caisse credit unions. His other interests included golf and cycling however, he had a special enthusiasm for hockey. After his retirement, Mike played as much hockey as he could and forged many friendships.
Mike had such a beautiful, unrelenting zest for life. Particularly this past year, he pulled through all the birthdays, holidays and important events, despite every day seeming like it could be his last. He was such a strong person who refused to give up and fought endlessly against the dying of the light right until the end.
In keeping with Mike's wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 with eulogy beginning at 10:15 a.m. followed by the mass in the Parish of Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens, 289 Dussault Avenue.

In the early '80's Michel was a member of our beer league hockey team. Our team was called ''Les Frogs''. Michel was a forward on that team. He wasn't the best player but he was fun to be around in the dressing room before or after the game! Gees, I hope a lot of Mike's ''Les Frogs'' team-mates show up for Michel's funeral... I know I may attend (God willing) as I sing in Sts-Martyrs Canadiens choir. Who am I? Well I was the goalkeeper for ''Les Frogs''!
