She was predeceased by her daughter Kathleen in 1985. She is survived by her three children, Tom (Charlotte), Darlene (Frank) and Janet (Ted), grandchildren, Michael (Christine), Cheryl (Matt), Stephen (Brianna), Scott, Rob and Mark, great-grandchildren, Brooke, Kate and Tyler.
A private family service has been held at Brookside Cemetery.

It still saddens me that my step-grandmother passed away. She took on the roll of grandma long after my biological grandmother passed away. You could always tell by her warm embrace she loved us kids like we were her very own grandchildren. My fondest memory of her was one year grandma Lee & grandpa Cook took me out to eat at Joeys Restaurant then took me shopping and bought me birthday gifts, and then we went to see a movie (Honey I Shrunk the Kids) Grandma Lee figured I deserved the best because I was the only girl in my family and she always treated me ever so specially. I'm so glad I got to see her once more months before she passed away.
