JANUSZ BURZYNSKI
May 4, 1946 - May 13, 2019

On Monday, May 13, 2019, Janusz Burzynski peacefully passed away after his brief fight with cancer.
He is survived by his wife Frances Marion Reid, his son Roland Burzynski with wife Shereen and grandchildren, Emma and Nathan, his daughter Janet Dooma with husband Lucien and grandchildren, Brayden, Brandon and Aiden (known as the little rascals).
Janusz will be remembered for his great love of the beauty of nature, an avid sportsman where he was once the Manitoba senior gold medalist for skiing, a passionate sailor to the core and a golfer with wisdom. A proud bearing man who enjoyed the adventures of life till the end.
He will lay in rest in the Lake of the Woods Cemetery in Kenora amongst the lakes and nature he loved.

  • Beloved Brother, nothing will quench my pain. We did not have time to meet, although you waited so much for this meeting. Your sky is silent, I will miss you and our talks very much. Dear Frances, Roland and Janet, I am connected to you in pain after the loss of your husband and your father and grandfather. This message shocked me and it is very difficult for me to accept it.
