Mildred leaves to mourn: her cats Miracle and Babes; her daughter Colleen (Kevin); her grandchildren, Tyrelle (Avery), Keesha, Tamika, Artisha, Leonard, Cody and Collin; her brothers, Raymond, Orton, Jonas (Muriel), Ronald (Jezebel), Willard; her sisters Olive, Elsie (George), Mabel (Alex), Annie (Hector); and many nieces; nephews; family; and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Leonard and Mary Rose Peebles; brothers, Stanford Peebles and Leonard Peebles Jr.; sisters, Hilda Peebles and Lillian May Peebles.
Pallbearers are Earl Bird, Charles Bird, Brandon Raven, William McPherson, Ronald G. Peebles and Chris Eaglestick
Wake services will be at the home of Colleen in Black River First Nation starting June 1, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. following the funeral service on Monday, June 3, 2019, at the St. George Anglican Church at 2:00 p.m. with Richard Bruyere officiating.

My deepest sympathies to Colleen, her family and Mildred’s extended family. I first met Mildred about 30 years ago and Colleen was just just little. I have always admired Mildred’s spirit to enjoy life and her family in spite of any limitations she had. She adored those grandchildren. I had recently retired so was unaware she was in hospital.
