CORNELIA (CORRIE) BERNADETTE SCHIEWE
(LYS) (née GRYWACHESKI)
She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence on May 26, 2019. They will be laid to rest together in a private family interment at the Morris Cemetery. The funeral service for Lawrence and Corrie will be held at the Morris United Church in Morris, MB on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
Corrie is survived by her daughter Waltra Lewis (Pat), son Gary Schiewe (Wendy Stobbe), daughter Sandra Hermann (Shawn), four grandchildren, Sam Lewis, Tom Lewis, Jeffery Poncelet, Trayza Stobbe-Fright, one sister Sheral McCann (Tom), brother-in-law Lawrence Yaremko, brother-in-law Wilfred Schiewe (Eveline), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Corrie obtained her Registered Nursing Degree right after high school and practiced nursing her entire career, spending the bulk of it at Morris General Hospital. Corrie will always be remembered as a classy social butterfly with countless friends. She was most happy when surrounded by family.
The family would like to thank Dr. Manness and the staff at the Morris General Hospital for their care and compassion.
