CATHERINE (CATHY) PATRICIA BETKER

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cathy Betker on June 3, 2019 at the age of 64.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Cathy's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.

  • I work at the kiosk next to Things Engraved, and was Cathy's work neighbor. She was always so sweet and kind, always happy to share a morning tea and to talk about the promotions our respective stores were running.   • Cathy was such a wonderful person. I had the privilege of working with her at her store in St Vital for over a year. She really helped me through so difficult times in my life and since moving onto another store in the mall I would make sure to stop by and say hi as she would come to my store also. Always smiling, always happy. Such a positive person and it showed. She will be greatly missed.   • Cathy and I worked together for over 10 years at Polo Park before she moved to another store at St. Vital. She was a great asset to the company, a hard worker and always willing to give a helping hand. She has touched many customer's lives with her engraving skills. I enjoyed my time working with her and we still kept in touch through our work. We also shared a great love of cats and shared many pet stories. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
