Peacefully, on June 17, 2019, Thomas Harold Bates passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 65 years.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.

  • Tommy Bates...old teenage friend. Those were the good ole days when we'd go see Tommy where he was sitting cross-legged in Memorial Park wearing his John Lennon sunglasses. Such a nice guy and one of the coolest guys around. I was getting married in Vancouver and lo and behold, there was Tommy walking down Granville so we invited him to our wedding.
