He was predeceased by his wife Marie Louise Talbot (née Martin), parents, Napoleon and Clarisse Talbot, his siblings and in-laws; Marcel (Rose) Talbot, Léopold (Rita) Talbot, André (Thérèse) Talbot, Robert Talbot, Agnès Cenerini, Aurèle Talbot, Tony Ahle, Jules Martin, Desirée (Benoit) Fortier and Emile Rogg.
Gerry, as he was known to so many, was a very kind and generous man who loved to spend time with his family and friends. He would never hesitate to lend a helping hand or offer up some advice and he always loved hearing a good joke or even being a bit of a jokester himself. When Dad wasn't busy
taking care of the farm, he spent most of his working life as a carpenter and after he
retired, he could often be found helping out family and friends with their many
renovations through the years. Dad's talents for creating extended well beyond houses and he could often be found making beautiful blankets by hand, or designing and creating wooden solar lights and planters for his
appreciative family and friends. We often looked to Dad in awe as there was nothing he could not do. Dad loved doing a lot of things but something he really enjoyed doing with Mom was playing cards, either at the Friendship Centre in Manitou, with family, or with their dear friends. He enjoyed the time they spent together and couldn't imagine a life without her. Though we miss him already, we take comfort in knowing that he and Mom are back together again.
