DONALD CHAPMAN
October 27, 1935 - July 8, 2019
Dad peacefully passed away in the early morning hours on Monday, July 8, 2019, with his daughters, Angela and Kristen, present.
Don was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Ethel Chapman; brother Robert Chapman; and more recently, his beloved wife and best friend, Joan Chapman.
Don is survived by his three daughters and their families, Marcia Galinski and her children, Cory (Rochelle) and Jennifer (Craig); Angela Lyons and her children, Devin, Sarah and Justin Lyons; and Kristen Vatrt and her children, Louis Jr. and Max Vatrt. Proud Great-GrandPapa to Emma, Berlynn, Sadie and Ellie.
We would like to thank the home care staff for all their excellent care, especially to Eva Osipiak, whom Dad loved like a daughter. Also, a big thanks to the Adult Day Programs our father attended.
Dad, you are now reunited with Mom.
We love you and miss you. Rest peacefully.

I know that Dennis and Don were like brothers at the CN. Many happy memories of your parents in the south. - Posted by: Bev Archer (Friend) on: Jul 13, 2019

Marcia, Angela, Kristen, I am very sad to read about the loss of Don. We have known your family for almost 40 years. Always a friendly smile and welcoming talks with both parents. Those who knew Don and Joan were privileged. - Posted by: Barb D'Avignon (Friend/Neighbour) on: Jul 13, 2019

Rest peacefully Uncle Don. You were a loving and caring man. I know Auntie Joan and Dad were there with huge hugs when you joined them. You will never be forgotten. I will always love and remember you! Wanda and family - Posted by: Wanda Pond (Niece) on: Jul 13, 2019

Girls, I am so sorry for your loss. Of course I knew your Mom from all our card making classes together, but I did not know your father very well. He and your Mom came to our place a few times on Saturday nights to visit. He was very talkative and enjoyed telling Mike and I lots about the cottage in Ontario and family life. He had lots of stories to tell. It was always enjoyable couple of hours whenever they dropped by. Again so sorry for your loss. Have comfort that they are together once again.
