VALERIE JEAN KASPER

It is with great difficulty and sadness that I, as husband, must announce that Valerie Jean Kasper died on July 18, 2019 after a long illness. She has been released from the burden and suffering of life and has gone on to a better place. She battled health issues with dignity and positivity. She was always for the best and never negative or complaintive.
Valerie is survived by her husband of 37 years, Patrick, daughters, Mackenzie (Alan) Burling and Danielle (Tom) Doering, as well as cherished granddaughter Zoey. She is survived by her mother Rhoda Davies and predeceased by her father Edward Davies. Val is survived by her sister Wendy (Dave) Dashwood and brother Norman (Karen) Davies. She had many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews that she always loved. Last and not forgotten are her doggie girls Willow and Maggie May that provided her years of joy.
Thank you to the team of doctors that helped her throughout her life and the hospital staff at Health Sciences Centre that provided excellent care with compassion.
All our memories will be cherished, no words will take away the pain. It's hard to lose someone like Valerie and our hearts hurt. Condolences, thoughts, prayers from family and friends are greatly appreciated.
A family interment will be held at Glen Eden Cemetery.
