It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Christina May Wade, July 12, 2019, at the age of 90 years, at the Concordia Hospital.
Christina will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband Murray; children, Brenda (Bryan), Willa (David), Shawna (Morgan) and John (Stacy); six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; her sister Hollis; nieces; nephews; extended family; friends; Richmond Garden neighbours; and Trinity Baptist Church community.
She was predeceased by her daughter Carol; sisters, Edna, Elva, Lois, Della, Fern; and brothers, Elwood and Sanford.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, 549 Gertrude Avenue, Winnipeg. Reception to follow in the lower church hall.
An interment and memorial service will take place Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Rosewood Memorial Gardens, Victoria Avenue West, Brandon. Reception to follow at the Clarion Hotel, 3130 Victoria Avenue W., Brandon.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Grace Hospital and Concordia Hospital. Also, a big thank you to Pastor Brad Warkentin from Trinity Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers and in honour of Christina's legacy, donations in her name may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church Improvement Fund, 549 Gertrude Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0M9.
