Peacefully and surrounded by family, Gerald passed away at the Selkirk General Hospital on August 26, 2019 at the age of 65 years.
Gerald is survived by his children, Jamie, Gypsy (Everett), Marlon, Donovan; his stepchildren, Shannon (Fred), Kelsey (Paul), Patrick; adopted children, Mark (Tanis), Sam, Peter and Kathy (Ernest); Northwind, Jade, Summerrayne, Renee, Riggs Raina, Dreson, Courtney, Meagan (Reggie), Alex (Craig), Katia, Emma, Dakota, Tyrone, Ernest Jr, Kaitlynn, Marcus and Johnny; his brother Wade (Kathy); his sister Eleanor; his in-laws; numerous nieces and nephews; and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife Shirley; daughter Rhonda; first wife Myrtle Pompana; granddaughter Carley Hunking; parents, Doris and Edward Morgan; and brother Edward Morgan.
Traditional Wake Service is being held at the Turtle Lodge, 47017-F Highway 11, Sagkeeng First Nation, MB from August 29 to 31, 2019 with funeral service to follow on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in the Notre Dame du Laus Cemetery, Broadlands, MB.
