Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I was saddened to read of Elizabeth's passing. Sincere condolences go out to Corey and the family. - Posted by: Olivia Stadnyk (Former colleague of Corey's) on: Sep 18, 2019

  • I wish Cory, Esabella, Michael, and family my sincere condolences. I am truly blessed to have had Elizabeth in my life. I was her Student Teacher at Victor Major School, and she taught me so much about preparing for my teaching career. Her vibrant personality, sweet smile, and sound logic always made me feel welcome and comfortable to come to her for both teaching and life advice. She was the reason I got my first teaching job in Thompson, and memories of her kindness and encouragement are in my classroom today. I will miss her dearly. Two of my favorite memories I shared with Elizabeth was helping her take all the Post-It Notes off her new car because one of her colleagues was getting back at her for a trick she played and filming Elizabeth and another colleague making a hilarious weather video for her students using green screen technology. Sorry Cory. I am responsible for helping Elizabeth get a photo with Ronaldo! I am thankful for these memories, and I will cherish them for years to come. - Posted by: Sarah Schroeder (Colleague and friend) on: Sep 18, 2019
