THERESA BECK

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Theresia (Theresa) Beck, on October 1, 2019, at the age of 84. She was our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched. With her family by her side, she left us peacefully while battling a rare condition.
Predeceased by her mother Barbara Rendl, she leaves behind to mourn her son Joe (Jan) Beck and daughter Hertha Cooper. Her grandchildren, Brittany (Jeff) Therrien, Sydney Beck, Stephen (Leanne) Cooper, David Cooper; and great-grandchildren, Brantley, Bennett, and Sloan.
Born in Yugoslavia, she married Konrad Beck in Austria in 1953. During the war, they immigrated to Canada and settled in Winnipeg where they farmed. Later in life she met her special partner Ivan who passed away in January 2019. Theresa missed him terribly and was lost without him. She always spoke about being with him again soon, "Mom, you're now together again".
She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. A celebration of Theresa's life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2528 King Edward St. on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. Lunch to follow after service and interment at Holy Family Cemetery, 4355 Main St.
