We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your mother, Frances. Our family had known Frances for many years, since the summer of 1956 when Frances, a young teen, came to live in Hodgson with our town minister’s family, Jake and Adina Goertzen. Frances and my older sister, Natalie who was Frances’ age quickly became long time friends. Their friendship continued throughout the years until my sister’s passing in 2016. Since then Frances and I continued to keep in touch by phone. Frances will always be lovingly remembered by our family for her kind and compassionate ways. Our deepest condolences to your family. May your mother Rest In Peace. Sincerely, long time friend, Helen Lawrence. Please feel free to reach out. My deepest condolences to Frances' family. I met Frances a number of years ago through her daughter Sue. We were board members at Kekinan Centre. Frances was a strong advocate of First Nation issues, especially for Seniors. She was an amazing woman overcoming obstacles and never giving up on what she believed in. Losing a mother is one of the greatest losses we encounter, my prayers are all with you at this sad time. Sincerely, Audrey Henderson - Posted by: Audrey (Friend of the Family) on: Oct 07, 2019

My deepest sympathies to you on the loss of your mom. I got to know her a bit at the hospital, and she was always so cheerful, and friendly. I will miss her - a remarkable lady. Terry - Posted by: Terry (Volunteer St. Boniface Dialysis ) on: Oct 05, 2019
