CALLA KOMARNICKI
(nee BROOM)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Calla Komarnicki (nee Broom). Calla passed away peacefully at the young age of 50, on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Riverview Health Centre with her family at her side.
Prayers will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. and the funeral will take place Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Both will be held at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. Mark Gnutel officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church.
Arrangements entrusted to Korban Funeral Chapel.

  • I am shocked and saddened to hear of Calla’s passing. Always smiling and laughing is how I remember her. She had a great sense of humour and we had a healthy Bomber fan vs Rider fan rivalry. It was very clear how much she loved her family and I know you must miss her so much. She was also one of the strongest people I’ve known especially when faced with adversity.
