• Brenda and I started teaching at REC at around the same time in the 1970’s.. We would share interests and concerns and she always managed to inject good humour into those conversations. She also displayed a caring leadership when anything that seemed unfair surfaced be it in RETA issues or in things that impacted the students. • We are so sorry to hear about Brenda's passing - our condolences to you, Bob and your family. She had a lovely, sharp wit and a lot of kindness in her soul. I so enjoyed working with her at the Folk Festival, and Gary valued her friendship as work colleagues at River East.
