(née FLEURY)
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband Adrien Lachance; her five children, Patrick (Louise), Claude (Gisèle), Jocelyn Hunt, Lionel (Shannon) and Paul (Caroline); her 12 grandchildren, Robert (Michele), Michelle (Ryan), Richard (Cynthia), Christian (Ashley), Jacqueline, Eric, Scott, Erin, Kyra, Summer, Matthew and Justin (Joy); her 10 great-grandchildren, Natalie, Matthew, Sarah, Logan, Dominic, Rachel, William, Brielle, Nyla and Calden. She also leaves to mourn her sister Irene Bouchard and in-laws, Florence Fleury, May Laramee, Epi Tulias, Lucille Ridley, Anita (Curt) Wold, Rene (Beverley) Lachance, Carol O'Malley, Delima Schade and Doris (Martin) Lavallee, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Ida was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Marie-Rose Fleury, her son-in-law Ken Hunt, her siblings, Alfred (Estelle), Joseph, Marie-Jeanne, Theresa (Bert) Feal, Betty (Peter) Medynski, Gertie (Bill) Barc, Jean (Walter) Kiazyk, Agnes Tulias, Alex, Charles, Rene (Anne) and George, her in-laws, Pete Bouchard, Pauline (Alvin) Shirtliff, Bill Ridley, Alan Schade and Lionel Lachance at infancy.
Mom was born November 25, 1933 at Meadow Lea, Manitoba to her parents, Alfred Fleury and Marie Rose (née Millette). She married Adrien Lachance on November 15, 1952, in the St. Eustache Catholic Church. Mom worked hard on the farm, taking care of her yard, garden, flowers and especially her family. She was a wonderful mother and did everything in her means to care for her family. Anybody who came to the farm was usually fed before they left. We love you Mom. We know the pain is over and may you rest in peace.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the St. Eustache Roman Catholic Church, at 2:00 p.m., with Father Armand Le Gal officiating.
