It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Boldt on October 3, 2019, at age 86, at St. Boniface Hospital.
She is survived by her loving husband Ed; her six children, Eva (Paul), Marian, Randy (Bowen), Dave (Irene), Susan, and Catherine (Doug); her granddaughters, Lindsay, Alison, Lauren, Vanessa and her great-grandchildren, Jessica, Mia and Ophelia.
Joan was passionate about her family, her home and garden in St. Vital, and, together with her husband Ed, was an avid golfer. She will be greatly missed.

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • My sincere condolences to Ed and the family. Joan was a pillar of strength for her family and loved her children and grandchildren immensely. I will never forget the many evenings playing Hearts with her, Ed and Susan and watching her enjoyment of having her family around her. Joan was a big part of my life as I was finding my way and for that, I will always be grateful. Rest in peace Joan. Much love. - Posted by: Martin Ruben (Ex son-in-law) on: Jan 18, 2020

  • We are really sorry to hear of Joan's passing I worked for Ed for many years at Royal LePage and got to know Joan quite well . I know the huge responsibility and coordination she assumed looking after a large family and her husband Ed ... Ed was successful in business but could not have accomplished the stature he did without the the relentless support of Joan .She will be missed by family and friends .... MIke Sambork Joan had an amazing strength to carry on regardless the hurdles she faced. I admired her greatly and enjoyed the time we had with her when we visited both Joan and Ed...She will be missed...
