ROSEMARIE MARKEWICH
March 23, 1937
Rose is survived by her children, Mary (Greg) Halverson, Mike Markewich, Maria Markewich and Margaret (Chris) Berthelette. Rose also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Charles and Christina Halverson and Evan and Melissa Berthelette, along with her dearly loved brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Rose loved spending time with her husband Roman at their farm in Libau, Manitoba. They enjoyed spending time with the wonderful friends they had there and attended the Poplar Park Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Rose loved gardening and spent many hours outside enjoying the fresh country air. She valued the time she spent with her family and loved ones, and will be sadly missed.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street, Winnipeg. Interment will be at the Poplar Park Cemetery and is open to those who wish to attend.

Rose was one of a kind friend. We spent time in her beautiful yard in the summer and shoveled down to the cement walkway in the winter. We also had coffee at her favorite, McDonald's, always great and fun-filled conversations no matter how she felt, we had fun. We will miss her dearly.
