Many fond memories from our times at Twin Beaches where I met Sharon and we dubbed our gang the Super 6, walking up and down the beach swearing on our eternal friendship. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time....wishing you strength in the embrace of friends and family. From One of the 6, ...Rita. RIP Sharon. - Posted by: Rita Henderson (Old friend) on: Dec 24, 2019

  • As an older cousin who moved away from MB in the 70's most of my memories of Sharon date back to when we were all young. I do remember her dazzling smile, and energetic ways. • I still can't believe she is gone, I know it's true, I see the words, I've been to the house but yet my heart can't seem to make the connection. My lifelong friend for over 50 years, from skipping down Logan after my Mom cut our hair, to going to Payfair to buy turpentine to get rid of our pimples, Ms. Dixon chucking an eraser in her classroom. Riding in the back of your dads truck under the blankets on the way to Twin Beaches, getting tattooed, being my bridesmaid, celebrating our high school reunion, when you got Rio, the three of us (Trish Haight) celebrating our 50th in Vegas. And for all the memories in between, wouldn't have missed it for the world, just so heart broken but I know you went when you needed to, I am awed by your bravery. Peace at last. xoxo. Lorna, David and family my heartfelt sympathy to you all. Cherrille Price, Marlene Ellis and Micheal Briard - Posted by: Cherrille Price (Lifelong friend) on: Dec 18, 2019

  • I worked with Sharon at Winnipeg Hydro. She always always lit up any room simply by entering it. I'll always remember her smiling or laughing. She is unforgettable. On occasion I'd bump into her over the years, and it always felt like no time had passed. Rest in Peace you beautiful, strong, giggling angel. - Posted by: Rose Jowsey (Ex co-worker/friend) on: Dec 17, 2019

  • Donna and I are truly saddened and offer our condolences to Sharon's Family. Sharon's work ethic was superb and unparalleled, and made every day a pure joy. Sharon's resume included the Training Academy, Fire Paramedic Administration, and Fire Dispatch. Donna would refer to Sharon as my "work wife" as she truly made me look good with everything she did. Sharon always anticipated what needed and should be done without prompting, and made sure it was done right. Sharon's smile made your day in spite of the challenges in her personal life. We are truly blessed to know you Sharon and do miss you. - Posted by: Stephen Sumka (Friend - Retired Deputy Fire Chief) on: Dec 17, 2019
