JOSLYN DANIELS
Dad was the eldest of three children, born September 27, 1937 in Bartica, Guyana to Harold Whitehead and Muriel Daniels.
Dad married the love of his life, Mayfield Sampson, of whom he remained faithfully married to for 46 years. Dad and Mayfield had two children and immigrated to Canada in 1973.
Dad was employed at Pioneer Electric for over 30 years until his retirement.
Dad was a stern man of high character, strong work ethic and high morals. He would give the shirt off his back to those in need.
Dad loved the Lord, his wife, his children, grandchildren, gardening, sports, Red Sorrel and a cold bitter glass of Maubey.
Dad is survived by his loving wife Mayfield; his son Colin (Rosa) of Thunder Bay, Ontario; his daughter Maxine (Melvin) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his brother Milton Jones of Bear, Delaware; his grandchildren, Denzel, Serena, Dante', Devon and several nieces and nephews.
Dad was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Yvonne Jones.
Our family would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the doctors and nurses of the Health Sciences Centre. We express sincere thanks to our family and friends for their support and prayers during this difficult time of which we are sincerely grateful.
Funeral service will be held on December 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Willowlake Baptist Church, 45 Willowlake Crescent.

Mayfield no words can heal your heart, no words can fill your heart at this time of sorrow. So many years of you and Jos traveling with us filling our bus with joy and love, seats 5&6 will be forever changed. Jos your huge warm smile and amusing remarks and stores will be missed. As you would drop Mayfield off on a trip you were unable to be on before she stepped inside the bus you would always ask one thing of us "take care of her for me" our answer was always the same "absolutely" our answer today and always remain the same: " absolutely" Jos rest in peace in God's hands. - Posted by: Helen and Alan (Friends) on: Dec 23, 2019

To my Aunt Mayfield , Colin and Maxine my heart goes out to you guys in this difficult time. I am encouraged by the fact that you all were together in this difficult time. Even though we are far apart our love for each other never wavers. As my respect and great laughs your dad and I shared. May God bless you and keep you in His light. Dear Mayfield and family, So sorry to hear of Joslyn’s passing. Condolences to you. Mayfield you and hubby were always together. At any event if I saw one I expected to see the other. He was always pleasant, courteous and respectful. I would have liked to attend the funeral however I’ll be out of town for a few days. I’ll keep you in prayer.
