We are so sad to hear of Don’s passing. We were so fortunate to be neighbours of Don and Joanne for over ten years. You couldn’t ask for better neighbours. Despite having the most meticulously well maintained lawn, Don and Joanne still happily encouraged the neighborhood children to run across it saying “it is so nice to see children playing outside.” Don was a true gentleman, a sincere, kind and gentle human who set the example of how to live in grace. Sending condolences to the family. He will be missed. - Posted by: Esther and Gyula Gergely (Neighbours) on: Apr 25, 2020

When I was an Associate working for Mr. Brock, at Tupper & Adams, he was one of the only Lawyers who always insisted that I charge more on and out of his files. Whenever he gave me work, he put more monies in my pocket and more monies into the Firm. He was a stellar Mentor of both principles and knowledge. I found him kind and good-humoured. I also snuck and photocopied the sign he always had on his desk, which I keep in my own Office, to this day. I am so happy that Mr. Brock had such a long and wonderful life and I am hurt to hear of his passing. I am lucky and grateful to have ever worked with such a wonderful Lawyer. - Posted by: Robin Zeiss (Colleague & Associate) on: Apr 11, 2020

Don & Joanne and family were our next-door neighbours on Brock street for 16 years. The Brock's were the best neighbours you could ever ask for. Don set the standard for caring for your property as his home and yard were always meticulous. Our three sons loved the Brock's and I can still hear our 4-year-old middle son, Jake, greeting Don..."Hi, Mr. Brock Street!" Sincere condolences to Joanne & family. - Posted by: Trevor & Caroline Kennerd and family (Neighbour) on: Jan 14, 2020

Heartfelt condolences to Don’s entire family. My mom, Dorothy Lother was so fond of Don and Joanne. In fact, after mom passed away, Don was incredibly helpful to my brother sorting through legal issues and paper work. He was a valued member of the choir she conducted at their church and beyond that, a true friend. Indeed, he was a true gentleman. Here in Brooklyn, we’d call him a real mensch! Don will be missed, terribly. - Posted by: Carla Lother (Friend) on: Jan 05, 2020
