TERRENCE (TERRY) LYLE LOWEN
July 24, 1942 - December 29, 2019
He is survived by his son Curtiss
(Roxanne); sister Faye Ennis; nieces, Glenda Falkowski (Victor) and Sandy Bergman
(Kelly); and great-nieces, Kara and Kiana.
Terry was born in Winkler, MB to parents, Herbert and Irene Lowen. In his youth he lived in many towns in rural Manitoba,
developing his smart, witty and fun loving personality. He would lay his roots in
Winnipeg, with his primary focus on caring for his family and raising his own.
In his life he also took great pride in his work for the elevator industry, starting as a mechanic and going on to be an inspector for the province. He was also skilled in electrical work, providing his services to family and friends.
In retirement he enjoyed reading military history, operating ham radio, and breakfasts with his friends at the Jolly Mug.
A memorial service for Terry will be held on Friday, January 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., in Winnipeg.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Terry's family. I first met Terry at Western Elevator where I was his helper during the summer of 1985 for a brief period. Always jovial and had a smile on his face, Terry was a pleasure to be around. His laughter was contagious. He would stop by our office to chat from time to time as he and my father, Dave Zilinsky went way back in the trade. He always had a story to tell. Terry will be greatly missed but never forgotten. - Posted by: Tim Zilinsky (work acquaintance) on: Jan 10, 2020

I remember those fun times when we worked at MLCC Store # 47 in St. Vital during the late 60's. It was equally a pleasure to reconnect after many years when you joined with me at the Riverside Lions Club a few years ago. I know that the Club Membership and the Housing Executive of Riverside Lions Estates appreciated your wise and sage input. R.I.P. - Posted by: Gerald Fontaine (Friend) on: Jan 10, 2020
