VIOLET MAY LONGLEY
(nee SINNOCK)
March 27, 1928 - January 10, 2020

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandma and Great-Grandma Maisie, at the age of 91 years.
She was predeceased by her husband John A. Longley in 2012; parents, John and Ena; as well as brothers, Jack, George, Ted and sisters, June and Rose.
Left to cherish Mom's memory are her children, Sandra (Larry), Jack (Darlene), Ron (Vicky) and Colleen; sisters, Ann and Eileen; as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mom was born and raised in Weston with her seven siblings. She then married John Longley and together they raised their four children. She was a devoted mother and wife who cared for all her children unconditionally.
Mom enjoyed bingo, puzzles and game shows. She always had a cup of tea and a hug for anyone who came through the door. Mom was a very warm and caring person with a kind heart. She was loved by all who knew her.
The family would like to express deepest thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Mom.
A private family interment will be held.

  • 91 years old, and she put a smile on everyone's face. I remember when I was young and growing up. Her and my Mom would talk on the phone for hours, everyday. All the best to your family and friends. Regards, Jason - Posted by: Jason Longley (Auntie ) on: Jan 21, 2020
