GRANT ALEXANDER BODLEY
Grant Alexander Bodley, beloved partner of Sandra Simpson (Wilson), passed away peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2020.
Predeceased by parents, Mabel and Norm Bodley, Grant is lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Andrea and Kyla, son-in-law Mahmoud, grandsons, Samuel and Leo, brother Bruce (Debbie), and sister Kathy. Also left to mourn his passing are Sandra's daughters, Ashley (son Hartley), Shauna and Jonathan (children, Emma, Aude and Finley).
Born August 7, 1945, Grant started his 37 years with Scotiabank in Winnipeg before moving to Vancouver, Toronto, Bahamas and Calgary, where he eventually retired. Following his career, he went on to work at Canadian Western Bank for 10 years. He moved back to Winnipeg in 2015 to be with Sandra. He loved all sports, but golf was his passion, and he played with a Golf Group "Happy Hackers" in Winnipeg when he moved here.
Grant will forever be remembered for his gentle nature, his kindness and caring deeply for those he loved. He gave us years of fun and enjoyed travelling with his family. We will always cherish those beautiful memories of times we spent in Calgary and Mexico.
A memorial will be held at Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Boulevard on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. Please come share your memories of Grant.
"You had a smile for everyone, you had
a heart of gold, you left the sweetest
memories that this world could hold.
Always loved and forever remembered."

We fondly remember visits to Edmonton and the good times we shared. Grant brought my sister much happiness and joy, and for that I am grateful. I know how much he will be missed and our hearts go out to my sister and Grant’s family. - Posted by: Dave and Jodey Wilson (Sandra’s brother) on: Jan 28, 2020
