ANNE PROKOPCHUK
May 27, 1935 - January 24, 2020

Surrounded by her loving family, Anne
passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020, at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 84 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing, husband Bill; children, Dan (Lori), Rick (Wanda),
Sandy (Nick), Blaine (Kelly); grandchildren, Kayla, Jordan, Eric (Aleah), Tyler (Christine), Breanne (Vince); great-grandchildren, Bowdin, Harlyn, Ben, Nora; brother Richard (Marie); many nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends.
Anne was born May 27, 1935, in Rosedale, MB. She was one of seven children and learned at a very early age, the joy of family and community. Anne was a loving wife,
mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who was very proud of her family. She will be missed, but her strength and the values she instilled, live on to guide her family.
Funeral Prayer service, celebrated by
Father Alan Wizinsky, will take place
Monday, February 3, 10:30 a.m. at St.
Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Church, 400 Day St. Interment will follow at Transcona
Cemetery, 5014 Dugald Rd.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire,
donations in Anne's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.

  • I worked with Anne for 11 years at Walmart. She always had a smile on her face and had a story to tell me .. we would talk about family and whatever came to mind ..she was so loving and caring and I will miss her dearly ..heaven has definitely gained a beautiful angel.
