DANIEL ARTHUR BOUVIER

It is with great sadness and fond memories we announce the passing of Daniel (Baz) on January 30, 2020.
Dan leaves to mourn his son Curtis, mother Therese, siblings, Robert, Raymond, Pierre all from British Columbia, sister Lise from Ontario, and several nieces and nephews across the country. Dan was predeceased by his beloved father Richard (Dick), and brother Eddy.
Dan was born August 8, 1959 in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. Dan followed in the family tradition and began his long 39-year career with CN Rail starting in Gilliam, Manitoba then moving between Churchill and Winnipeg. Dan loved the North and worked during the Polar Bear season in Churchill along with his brother Eddy and good friend Ward. They enjoyed their time together working with Great White Bear Tours. Dan enjoyed life and had a great sense of humour and was king of one-liners. He loved cars and owned many in his life and loved his Chrysler 300 that he babied. Dan will be missed and was taken far too young.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the Coutu Funeral Home, 680 Archibald St.
Dan you will be missed but will be back together again with your brother Eddy and beloved father Richard who he admired and loved so much. Dan's ashes will be brought back to Churchill, Manitoba at a later date to lay in rest with his brother Eddy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Addictions Foundation of Manitoba.

"Until we meet again, you are loved."
"Rest in Peace Baz"

  • I will always remember my “brother” Baz for his sense of humour: answering the phone with lines such as “Crime Stoppers: you stab ‘em slab ‘em”. When he’d call me, he’d always say “this is your brother”, or “what are you wearing?” . Rod’s and my thoughts are with the entire family. - Posted by: Christine Ward (“Sister”) on: Feb 05, 2020
