LOUISE DEVIGNE
(née GAGNE)
June 16, 1931 – January 29, 2020

In the early hours of January 29, 2020, our loving mother, Louise, peacefully passed away in her sleep.
Though we mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer in pain, and is once again reunited with her loving husband, Jerry; daughter, Lise; and daughter-in-law, Ginette.
She was also predeceased by her parents, Albert Gagné and Claire Nogue; her brother, Marcel; brother and sister-in-law, Claude and Anita Gagné; sister and brother-in-law, Thérèse and Gerry Tremblay; brother-in-law, Ron Nelson; two nephews, Marc Sabourin and Gérard Gagné.
She will forever be remembered and dearly missed by her sons, Richard (Rose-Marie), Raymond; and four grandsons whom she was very proud of and truly cherished, Robert, Marc, Denis, and Paul (Naomi Bordush). Also left to mourn are Louise's sisters, Raymonde Marius (Louis), Denise Sabourin (Roger), and Suzanne Nelson; brother John Gagné (Liz); sister-in-law, Louise Davidson (Gerry); and son-in-law Larry Robitaille; numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
Mom was a very proud and sociable person, whose caring personality was evident to everyone who knew her.
A Celebration of Life in her honour will be held this spring (date to be confirmed), followed by interment.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Tante Louise was a blast of energy, funny stories, and kindness, right until the very end. She had a razor sharp sense of humor. I will miss visiting with her and our trips to “church” (casino). She lived for her family and my thoughts are with them as they mourn her passing. - Posted by: Giselle (Niece) on: Feb 08, 2020

  • I remember Tante Louise as a very loving and caring person, helping us with Mom when she was in the hospital, and Dad when he was mourning Mom. My condolences to you all. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Pauline - Posted by: Pauline Gagné (Niece) on: Feb 08, 2020
