Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Cheryl, Alex and Andy, I’m so sorry to hear of your husband and dad’s passing. I always enjoyed Henry’s cheerful, friendly demeanour when I ran into him at the store or on the street. A lovely person. Although I am currently away and cannot attend the services, I will be thinking of you all and wish you strength and peace as you go forward. • During my days of living and working at the border, whenever anyone had an unanswered question on a particular subject, it would be “ask Henry” who was a fountain of knowledge. He was part of the "Emerson gang” who for decades would spend time at Robert Skinners family cabin on Rainy Lake every summer. Henry was always front and centre in the many work projects that Robert had lined up. My thoughts and prayers are with you Cheryl, Alex and Andy. You made his life complete. Henry touched many lives with his wit and kindness. That light of his (diminished by illness) has been restored now that he has passed. He is at peace. That is the Henry we will always remember. - Posted by: Armelle Evoy (Friend) on: Mar 13, 2020

  • So saddened to hear of Henry’s untimely passing. He was a kind and personable man. I worked many years with Henry at “ Emerson West “ and was always appreciative of his varied and extensive knowledge, and his love of crossword puzzles. Henry was very proud of his family and loved his two boys ! We offer our heartfelt condolences at this difficult time - Posted by: Mike and Penny Molotkin (Friends and former neighbours) on: Mar 13, 2020
