LIL PILON
Lil was born in Carman, June 10, 1928, to Ralph and Esther Lehman, and to her father's delight second of four girls.
Lil had many fond memories of her life in the country before moving to Winnipeg. In her early years she had a variety of jobs, usher at theatres, delivering telegrams, in the reserves and finally retiring as head of the mail room at Manitoba Health Organization after many years.
She met the love of her life Joseph Edward (PeeWee) in 1953 and they married shortly after. They enjoyed their life dancing at the Foresters Club, camping, fishing, and time with their family. Lil loved fishing and received two master angler's awards. The family enjoys many crafts Lil created over the years, knitting, crocheting, egg sculpting, paper tolling, cross stitch, creating and arranging flowers.
She also loved travelling, especially to Hawaii and Ontario to visit family, playing cards, bingo and scratch lottery tickets, all with the same gusto she lived her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Edward (PeeWee); parents, Esther and Ralph; granddaughter Daniele; and sisters, Kay, Mabel and Gladys.
Lil is survived by her son Michael Pilon, (Pennie), and daughter Suzanne Stevens, (Doug); two granddaughters, two grandsons, and nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was especially close to her niece Marilyn and nephew Keith.
At Lil's request there will be no service.

I have many fond memories of Lil, Pee-wee and Mike: in many ways, Lil moulded my thinking as a young teenager … I spent many nights in their home lots of shenanigans with Mike and lots of love always from the family… she came to visit me in the Northwest Territories when I was there we had her out in a great fishing trip. Her spirit still lives on up there in the Great Slave Lake…. Thank you for sharing your Mom Mike… Long overdue but sending you a tight hug….Chimp - Posted by: Donna Rawlyck (Nee Shapansky) (Friend) on: Jun 07, 2025

Lil was a great lady. We think of her often I know the people on her floor all loved her We would visit with her when we visited a family member at Beacon Hill (hi his room was across from her) she would tell stories about being a little girl on the farm with her dad. She is in a better place Jeannette & Darren Wiebe - Posted by: Darren & Jeannette Wiebe (Friend) on: Apr 02, 2020
